Happy New Year from DeLuca Toyota! We hope you had a great holiday season and have exciting things in store for 2019. As we start the New Year, we wanted to share with you our holiday highlight: the 33rd Annual WESH 2 āShare Your Christmasā Food Drive.
The food drive was held at our dealership in Ocala on December 5, 2018, and brought in tremendous results. From 6 a.m. to 1 p.m., community members donated 6,580 pounds of food, and raised $11,800 to support Second Harvest Food Bank. DeLuca Toyota donated $10,000 to the cause, which will help provide 40,000 additional meals for children, families and seniors in Marion County.
āWe got involved to fill the hunger gap in our community to make an impact right here at home,ā Frank DeLuca, owner of DeLuca Toyota, noted. āWith one in four kids in our community at risk for going to bed hungry tonight, we wanted to make a difference.ā
Thank you to the many schools and community groups who participated in the 33rd Annual WESH 2 āShare Your Christmasā Food Drive, including: youth and school administration from Belleview Middle School FFA; Forest High School ASL Club and Forest High School Cheerleaders; Redeemer Christian School; Trinity Catholic Celtic Touchdown Club; Clear Channel Outdoor Ocala/Gainesville; and Frank DeLuca YMCA.
At our dealership, our first priority is building relationships. For 40 years, we have focused on serving our community, and we are proud to be a part of any serving opportunity that comes our way. Thank you to everyone who joined us in the 33rd Annual WESH 2 āShare Your Christmasā Food Drive benefiting Second Harvest Food Bank. We are looking forward to this annual event and others in 2019 to give back to our community.
